Product Stewardship

Since 2013 mattress manufacturers, retailers and supply chain participants have been working towards developing a national scheme to recycle mattresses. We chose Soft Landing to oversee this scheme because of its experience in mattress recycling and its role as a social enterprise that also creates jobs for people who experience barriers to employment. Soft Landing has a commitment to the best social and environmental outcomes for each waste stream.

The Scheme is proud to have the big four bedding manufacturers, leading retailers and supply chain manufacturers on board as the founding members.
